How to attract paying advertisers to your podcast

How to attract paying advertisers to your podcast

Here are a few points on how to attract paying advertisers to your podcast

* Use English as your primary podcast language. Most paying advertisers would prefer to advertise on English podcasts. So it's wise to use English instead of any other language in your program. If you listen to my first few episodes it's not in English, but when I started getting feedback to do the program in English I slowly swayed in that direction.

* Submit your podcast to podcast directories. Advertisers like podcasts that has a lot of listeners, one sure way of attracting listeners is to submit your podcast to podcast directories so that when people search for something to listen to they would be able to find your episodes.

* Podcast regularly, if a daily podcast is possible do it. Because the more you post your episodes the more listeners will find you on the net.

* Talk about interesting facts. You could discuss unbelievable things that happened, you may even use the info on Ripley's Believe Or Not. Just don't read through it you have to say the facts in your own words, give your opinion about what you read and you're on your way to attracting a lot of paying sponsors.

* Provide useful information. Discuss a new way of healing or a new way to make money. A lot of people are very interested with health and making money, you may have something that you are really interested in. Your interest may be other people's interest too, this is what you need to do, dig up, research useful and helpful information about your hobby or interest and discuss them on your podcast. Do this religiously and you will see your fan base grow.

* Make your episodes lively. Your podcast should be uplifting and always in a good mood. Try this, listen to a happy song to perk up your mood before you start an episode. Listening to a happy show is better than a gloomy one.

* Whatever the broadcasting rules and guidelines, it should apply to your podcast. Follow these broadcasting rules and guidelines to steer clear of problems and complications in the future. Remember that you are no longer just a simple listener you now have a responsibility to your listeners.
