Become a medical transcriptionist at home

This is one work at home job anyone could be in

If you have the following skills you could become a work at home Medical Transcriptionist:

* strong grasp of English grammar
* punctuation
* proofreading skills
* excellent spelling and grammar
* an extensive vocabulary
* be extremely alert with a fine attention to detail and accuracy
* must be responsible
* capable of never missing a tight deadline
* and an above average typing speed

If you lack one or more of the above required skills don't despair you could train for it and still become a medical transcriptionist/ transcriber. There are a lot of schools for medical transcriptionist that you could enroll in, there are even online medical transcription courses and home study medical transcriptionist schools.

You must also have your own computer, and a high speed internet connection if you wish to work at home as a medical transcriptionist.

Having worked for a medical transcriptionist company is a plus but not a must anybody who desires to become a transcriptionist could become one, given that he/she has the drive to work it out.

Most companies would require you to complete an evaluation quiz to demonstrate your skills and knowledge.
