I’ve been doing article marketing since 2006. But let me define what email marketing is, email marketing is pretty much like doing a press release about a product, service, event or just about anything. Within the article there is helpful links and information about whatever you are discussing. The article is then distributed to article submission sites all over the internet.
Here is a site where I submit some of my articles.
Article marketing is actually a great way of letting people know that your site is available online. When webmaters or bloggers grabs your article and puts it in their sites, the article generates back links this happens when people who reads your article clicks on the links on your article.
Listed below are the steps that I do for my article marketing:
-Pick an interesting topic to write about
-Research the topic
-Write the draft of the article
-Read the article out loud
-Check if the article at least has 300 to 500 words
-Check the article for wrong spelling, wrong grammar and check if the details of the article is correct.
-Have a friend or a colleague read the article
-Include the links of blogs or websites you are promoting
Think about this, if you simply write 1 article a week and you simply submit it to 1 free article submission site, you will have 54 articles a year that points to your website or blog. The links in your articles will increase the number of visitors to your site. And if your articles were copied and uploaded to webmaster’s or blogger’s sites you will eventually have a large number of links pointing to your website.
But what if the webmaster’s or bloggers takes off the links going to my site? You might ask. You really can’t do anything about it, that’s the sad part.
Don’t waste your time chasing after them you will just be wasting your time. Write more articles instead, and remember that not all people on the Internet will steal your article.
Think of it this way you already earned a link when you added the article to the article submission site, if other people steals your article and doesn’t include your by line or link to their sites that’s their problem, karma will someday get them.
Don’t let these people ruin your article marketing go on and continue to send articles to free article submission sites.
